Everyone's move is different, and the cost depends on the size of your move, the time it takes to load and unload, and the services you require. For an approximate costing, you can use our online estimate form or contact us by phone or email to arrange an in-person or virtual survey.

Most moves include buying and selling require you to be out of your property by 1pm. Stranks will ensure you are loaded by then and ready to unload in the afternoon when you receive the keys to your property. Larger moves, apartment moves or properties with restricted access may require partial loading on days prior to completion. These will be discussed when a surveyor comes out to your property.

Boxes are provided for all our moves. We charge a minimal fee for distance moves, but when moving locally, all we require is a deposit which is refunded when the boxes are collected after your move. Don't worry, we won't rush you to empty them!

We pack any large picture frames, mirrors, TVs, or other unusually large items. We bring specially made boxes, which are loaded by our professionally trained staff.

We are able to dismantle and reassemble all types of furniture, including electric beds, wardrobe units, running machines and gym equipment.

We are a licensed waste carrier and can provide a disposal service for any item. We also provide a household clearance service if this is something you require.

We can provide a full packing service, including packing items made of china or bespoke packages to suit your needs by professionally trained staff.

We provide portable hanging wardrobes with all our moves. Your surveyor will assess the amount needed at your appointment and our staff will bring them on the day, as well as filling and emptying them for you.

On average, our surveyor will need 20-30 minutes at your property. However, some surveys can take longer depending on the size and requirements you disclose prior to the move.

We have many different sized vehicles to cater for every possible situation. We will always make sure we use the most suitable one for your move.

Most items of furniture with draws are able to be left full, but we advise removing any fragile items. If the furniture is too heavy to load, we will remove the draws and place them back in when your furniture is safely loaded on to the vehicle.
